I began my private practice, Green Star Holistix, after leaving my career as an executive in corporate finance to follow my heart into the healing arts. Since age 11, I had struggled with Lyme’s Disease, and the resulting Bells Palsy, and other physical ailments that come with this dis-ease. For years, I went from doctor to doctor seeking relief from my pain, as well as the anxiety and high-stress caused by my job. It was yoga that first showed me that there are alternative options out there for healing and transformation. Thus, in 2008, I left my job as an executive and set out to not only heal myself but to learn how to help empower others in healing themselves as well.
I have studied directly with some of the masters in their fields, such as Ana Forrest, Shiva Rea, Hugh Milne, Paul Muller-Ortega, Leonid Soboleff, Les Leventhal and Janet Stone.
I have the unique ability to combine my experience as an executive with an intuitive, gentle, natural and radiant form of healing. My clients range from CEO’s to artists, newborns, parents, children, athletes, musicians and everyone in between. I see people for a variety of experiences: CranioSacral Therapy primarily, bodywork, yoga, mediation and guiding people in the creation of transformation in their life. All of these are incorporated into The Blackstock Method:: Living Stillness CranioSacral Therapy, which I offer in small group trainings several times a year. If you would like to be put on the wait-list for these trainings, please contact me directly.
I take my inspiration from my travels, many wonderful teachers, ever-growing library of books, cat Shakti and the greatest healer of all, the Ocean.

The Story of How Green Star was Born
Green Star Holistix was born in the rice fields of Bali. Jen Blackstock traveled to Bali on her healing path to study Esalen®Massage in the heart of Balinese culture- Ubud. After coming down with a major illness in the first few days of her trip and experiencing the touch of many traditional Balinese and international alternative healers, Jen decided to stay in Southeast Asia to continue to learn alternative healing methods and journey on the spiritual path. This included stops in Malaysia, Singapore and a few months in Thailand studying modalities such as Buddhist and Tantric meditation, Reiki and fasting.
Fate brought Jen back to Bali after traveling, where she studied Biodynamic CranioSacral Therapy with Leonid Sobeleff. It was in this class that profound healing took place and Jen discovered the true power of living in the stillness. She also witnessed the amazing ability of the human body to heal itself from even the oldest wounds and traumas- including her own Bells Palsy from childhood.
It was during this course that Green Star Holistix was born, inspired by the Indian Ocean, lush green rice fields, star filled nights, and the Green Tara of the Hindu and Buddhist traditions. Tara means “star” in the ancient Sanskrit language and her personality and aspects are represented by different colors. The Green Tara, or Green Star, is known for being a speedy helper who offers emergency aid and provides rapid understanding of situations and relationships.
Thus, the Green Star rescues us by Empowering us to heal Ourselves.
